Is this a good gaming PC for $350

CPU: phenom ii x4 965

GPU: MSI 6670

RAM: G.SKILL sniper 8GB

PSU: 500 watts raidmax

MOBO: Biostar TA970XE AM3+

HHD: western digital blue 320GB 7200RPM

switch out the psu, You NEED reliability and quality when it comes to that, get an xfx, corsair, or seasonic

Ive just made this partslist for you and i think you will get a bit more for your money with this.

Ive added an aftermarket CPU cooler so you can easily overclock to get that axtra speed in games and when performing tasks, and for the $26 pricetag this one is a steal, it cools close to the same rate as a $70 water cooler.

Ive also switched that G.Skill ram for a 1x4GB because its one of the things that you can easily stick another 4gb in say a couple of weeks when you grab some cash.

next up ive changed the MSI 6670 to a sapphire HD Radeon 6570, this will get you some decent games running for $350 although you may have to knock your settings down a touch to run them smoother.

last is the PSU i really wanted something that was 80plus and bronze because i mean if you cheap out at this point you can end up with a whole bunch of problems and damaged parts, so i added a- Inwin 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified

i did change the HDD without checking the WD blue, so you may want to change that back if it is cheaper.

the phenom ii is not any faster than tha A-seires cpu's and the a10 is just as fast as a hd 6670. i would advise you to go with an am2 platform unless you want to upgrade to steamroller (new amd cpus that will come out in about a year.) if so you need an am3+ mb
