Intel Core i3 2120 3.30Ghz or Intel Core i5 2320 3.00Ghz which is better?
Would it support Skyrim on meduim settings with AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB
And 6GB of RAM?

I'd go with the i5 and 2x 4GB DDR3 RAM.
It's a prebuilt computer the i5 one is about 125$ more it comes with 8GB of RAM the i3 comes with 6GB could i play skyrim on the i3 with 6GB RAM?
You're focusing on the wrong things. The main priority for gaming is the graphics card. CPU and ram are secondary. Considering the game came out with a 4GB memory limit (actually it might have been 2GB; I can't remember), 6GB would easily handle it. They did get rid of the initial cap in a patch, but as long as you have at least 4GB of RAM in your computer, you will be fine. The i5 is just a better processor in general. I would spend the extra money and get the i5.
If you can find something with a better graphics card go for that though.
How much do these two computers cost anyway? You could probably build something yourself that would be a lot better for the same amount of money.
the i3 is 400$ specs:
Intel core i3 2120 3.30Ghz
6GB RAM
Intel HD 2000 Graphics
1TB HDD 7200Rpm
The i5 is 520$
Intel core i5 2320 3.00Ghz
8GB RAM
1TB HDD 7200Rpm
Intel HD 2000 Graphics
If i get either one im gonna get a GPU What GPU should i get i wanna play Skyrim ARMA 2 Possibly ARMA 3 on low when it comes out for ARMA 3 i was thinking the i5?
I would imagine that you could at least play those games on medium with the 6870, but I would suggest getting the best graphics card you can afford.
I would get the i5 just because it's a better all around system.
When it comes to GPUs it depends on your budget. I would suggest a GTX 660 TI or Radeon HD 7870, unless you can afford something even better. Those cards should be able to run most games on high or highest settings.
How much is GTX 660? Im looking to spend about 130$ on a GPU Later once i get it im gonna use the Intel HD 2000 Graphics for a while play some low games like TF2 and maybe for christmas get a Gpu.
Well if you can only do around $130 the best card you're probably going to be able to find is a GTX 560 or a Radeon HD 6870.
Thanks ill probaly be getting the i5 for 520$ and the 6870!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT BUY IT, ESPECIALLY FROM BEST BUY! They are a terrible terrible place, overpriced as well, your willing to spend 520 and 130, so $650, I'll make something waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better
GigabusterEXE strikes again!
Well I already said he could probably build something himself, but I'm assuming that he doesn't want to since he never reacted to my statement and seems pretty dead set on the pre-built.
butbut it would be better, and coole, and not powered by evil...
so he wants to spend 650, i hunt through sites and see if i can find a better prebuilt deal since he doesnt seem to want to build it himself
best i could find was dell inspiron 660 for 550 same specs as the i5, however one problem that i have run into with pre built machines is that the mobo doesnt always have a pcie slot which u need to add a decent video card. my brother bought a prebuilt once and i thought it would be nice of me to add a video card to it and maybe a psu to power it and then i popped open the case (luckly before i got the part) and their was NO slots for expansion except one sata port
well all of the prebuilt ones I've looked at can't even FIT a 6870 or 660 in them MAYBE a 650 also NO way it would have adaquit cooling
does this look like you can fit a 10 inch card+pci-E connectors or stay cool

$655
the Blue is what you could afford with prebuilt, if you can fit the card in, and not overheat it
and the black is custom

have no fear Pumpkinsmurder building it yourself is very easy and you've totally come to the right place...also it is really the only way to go for gaming computers
yah i was just putting down the dell as the only similar prebuilt that i could find, and its not like he would have a different situation with the best buy pc he wants, and with my brother's pc i was thinking more along the lines of a low end card like the radeon 6570
