I found a brand-new Acer Aspire 5733-6838 with a core i5 560m and RAM upgraded to 6gb for $300, is this a good laptop for light gaming (minecraft, tekkit, retro games and emulators every now and then), photoshop, and web browsing?
Also, since this is important too, will this be able to run Morrowind GOTY edition? bought it a while ago and I havent been able to play it since i got it on steam, and my previous laptop met the requirements to run the game and it would never start.

Well that laptop was originally about $350 New. Its odd too, its meant to be shipped with a i3 380m but for what ever reason they all were really the i5 560m as you stated. Even with that flaw in their advertizing, looking at the graphics card in it which is a Intel HD with only 128mb dedicated memory on it. I doubt its up for any heavy gaming. Light gaming.. possibly. Couldnt tell you about Morrowind though.
Wait, so does it really have an i5 in it? Walmarts version has an i3.
with a i5. yeah. now that is if dose have a i5. hell even a i3 would do th trick of what you plan to do with it. how am i sure? i had a 775 dual core computer with low ram and just a small weak bumper card. and it was able to do the same things. so go for it.
but be fore you do chek out there customer service, and warranty. sso if you ever have a problem you know your backed.
Intel HD graphics are terrible so don't hold your breath. If you want to game, get a laptop with dedicated graphics.
You're making sort of a sketchy decision with acer, I have no personal experience but I hear alot about how they arent very well made.
