Is this a good build?

OK so I am building a PC for gaming but for a budget. I already have a case,a hard drive, and windows 7 professional so here is the list of parts:

8gb Crucial Ballistic Sport RAM

Saphire Radeon Hd 7770 GHz edition

MSI 907A-G43 AM3 SATA 6GB/s ATX AMD motherboard

AMD 760k Richland 3.8 GHz socket FM2 100w quad core processor

Corsair CX500 500watt power supply BRONZE certified

Basically this is it except you know like the thermal compound shenanagins so yeah........... What do you think, any good for skyrim and the new Battlefield?

Get G Skill ram and get CX500M (M for Modual)

I bought 4gb Crucial ram and it came DOA.

And get a 1TB carvair Blue hardrive.

Ok i read the guidlines i want some thing that will last me a couple years of moderate gaming

Why is G skill better than Crucial?

To make things easier around here just include some extra info so we can tailor you better.

  • Budget. How much are you willing to spend?
  • Where do you live (what country),  and what currency do you use?
  •   -Is there a retailer you prefer?
  • Do you need or already have peripherals? (this can add to costs)
  • What will you be using your future computer for? Gaming? Rendering? Mix of both? Or is this a home media PC?
  • Do you overclock or want to get into overclocking?
  • Do you plan on going for custom watercooling now, or in the future?
  • OS. Do you need a new one?

Ok i am willing to pay 430$ us currency

I may want to get into overclocking

i already have a good os

any online retailer and my peripherals are in my first post on this thread

This should get you the best performance and upgradeablity for your money.

I already have a case and a hard drive and a os

i wanted 8 gb of ram

AMD 760k Richland 3.8 GHz socket FM2 100w quad core processor

MSI 907A-G43 AM3 SATA 6GB/s ATX AMD motherboard.

FM2 != AM3.  Different sockets.  Won't work at all.

Something like this would be pretty good: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/26NiC
