Hello I'm a new member on the Syndicate community. :)

Trying to keep it around or under $571. I am exchanging my Ipad Mini to build my first computer. The reason why I included a monitor is because I don't have one at the moment. (I currently have a laptop)
ps: What case do you recommend? I would like a see-through case or something similar with front panel options.
pss: I don't think I need an optical drive, I'll install W7 using a flash drive.
I may be adding a dedicated GPU in the future one I have enough $ the graphics on the CPU may be fine for now.. I'm not quite sure. Never built a PC before.
Does anyone have an opinion on a decent looking case for cheap? Also does it matter what case I get with the motherboard as long as it's ATX? Trying to keep this around or under $571. I'm american by the way. Newegg, amazon, ect would be my favorite sites.
Yea, I would also suggest the Corsair 200r or 300r, they look pretty cool, are pretty cheap, and look cool (atleast I thinkm I have the Corsair 500r and I really like it).
i would go with am am3+ build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xWfP
and in a year or so you can drop in a new 8core cpu and have more than twice the cpu power. also you can use 2 gpu's with the msi board. (you will need a larger psu to run 2 cards )
Would it be possible to change the graphics card to AMD or something? I'm looking to playing BF3, Saint's Row, Call of Duty, ect on High or Ultra. The upgrading path does sound promising though.
@Akira4950- adding $10 more will get him twice the storage- http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xZbQ
If you want AMD, this'll give you around the same performance. But if you can, you can add a little more to the 650 Ti build and get a 7850( 1GB costs slightly more, 2GB a little more), which will give you close or around 660 performance.
2GB( slightly faster card and cooler running than previous, but no coupon)
The APU build is also a good route. It'll save you some money to save up for a better card. If you do the APU, get a decent cooler, too, to OC the APU.
mail in rebates bro, not worth it, they often void the warrenties because you no longer have proof of purchase or UPC codes, also you don't get the full refund to to shipping and handling fees
there was a PNY 650Ti that sells like hot cakes that's cheaper than the rest of the 650TI's and is a 2GB, I used that one in a build for a friend and we're both thouroghly impressed with it, its a solid card
I've finally used enought asrock mobos personally to put my trust in them but ASUS is still number one, OC that baby and you shouldn't have a problem playing games on medium, except maybe battlefield 3
Yea this sucks. My budget is like strict $571 at max $626 total. I wish to have the Asus monitor the Zalman has bad reviews. I can do the am3+ build and save up for any better graphics card later on and keep the Asus monitor. But these are what I have so far.

What would you guys really do in this situation? It's quite confusing to me since I'm a first timer.
Tough choice between an APU or the Phenom. 500gb at the moment seems quite good.
