Is this a good 4K Camera?

I am looking for a good 4K camera, i dont really care about video, i want really good low light, at least 50x zoom. I want the camera for wallpapers and art i want to print off and hang. I also need pretty good stabilization, because i dont want to carry around a tripod.
It would also be nice for an easy way to get the pics from the camera to my PC.

This looks like a perfect camera for me, and its not too expansive either.
Are there cheaper cameras that are just as good? Suggestions, or anything welcome.

If you do not care about video, then forget 4K video.

Getting a consumer oriented camera that can do 4K video is going to perform much worse than a enthusiast or entry level professional camera.

My recommendation for low light camera in the 500-600 range would either be the nikon D5300 with an 18mm-55mm lens or a nikon D3300 and then get a telephoto lens

Link doesn't work for me however, had a look on Amazon at the Coopix b700...

As above unless you need 4k video then don't worry about that spec. 4k is only 8 megapixels remember.

My personal preference would be to get a Micro 4/3 or APS-C sensor camera opposed to a bridge type camera you are looking at, the quality will be much better and you can change lenses for long range, wide, macro, low light etc. You just can't have it all at the same time and expect professional results.

Have a look at the Canon M3, you should get a good deal used.

Yup.

Yeah.

Are these 4k? i couldnt find a resolution. Im not even sure if DSLR have a resolution. I am such a n00b

I kinda dont want more then like two-three lenses. IDK.

Seems ok. Still cant find a resolution. I dont think im doing it right.

4K resolution is a standard for VIDEO.

It is a high resolution VIDEO standard that will fit a 16x9 MONITOR or TV.

There is a resolution for photos, but it is basically irrelevant because you will inevitably scale your photos.

There are 3 things that matter. Megapixels (anything over 15 is fine), quality of the image sensor and speed of the processor (both help with low light photography), and finally the quality of the glass in the lens.

These 3 things are really going to be the main selling points for any high grade camera.

ok.
I knew i wasnt doing something right.
so whats the difference between digital and DSLR? Is one better or worse?
And would the camera i linked be good?

dSLR stands for digital Single Lens Reflex, basically they are all just 'bodies' you can attach different lenses too. They do vary depending in sensor size, Micro 4/3, APS-C or Full Frame. Full frame is equivalent to 35mm film, expensive but excellent quality.

Most important part is the lens, then sensor. A full frame £2000 camera with a £200 lens will be killed by a £500 camera and £1000 lens.

A bridge camera which you linked is a sort of middle ground, do everything camera. You say you need atleast a 50x zoom, why? Are you doing lots of wildlife photos or sports?

If you got a dSRL with a 18 - 200mm lens that should be a good starting point to satisfy most needs and will be much better quality and you can switch the lens and upgrade that way rather than looking for a new camera each time.

Landscapes, and its more of a preference, i just dont want to be caught without enough zoom.

ok.

Did not know that.

Get a 18-200mm lens and you'll have the best of both for landscapes. You can add a 10-22mm later which will work even better for those wide shots.

Have a look on eBay at Canon 700d's you might be able to get one at a fairly decent price and they are great cameras for starting out.

Looks good, and its the sameish price. Thanks for the help.

No worries, I use a 700d almost every other day for work and I choose it rather than a 5D etc as its overkill for my business.

Personally I had a D710 and the Holy Trinity but sold all that as it was never used due to time, so I'm not being biased. Also use a little Canon compact for work but apart from the zoom, my iPhone delivers the same quality.

Is the Sony 5100 4k

The Sony A5100 is a 1080p 60fps camera.

Sony A7sii or sony A6300

Get a used fuji x100. Use it a lot, take it everywhere, learn to shoot in manual mode.
A used X100 in good condition is around 300,- Euro here in Germany.
So you should have money to spare for a photo course.

The best camera in the world cannot help you if you don't know how to use it.
