Hey tek people haha. I got my 3570k to 4.4ghz today at a 1.2 vcore. I later got it to 4.7 ghz with a 1.35 vcore. Did I "win the silicon lotery" or what?
Can it pass a 24 hour Prime95 small FFT torture run?
if ur oc for gaming its gonna be good oc speed... watch stability and temps, running air or liquid coooled?
And don't say liquid if you're running a closed loop system. I'm guessing this is either air or a closed loop system. If it was 4.9Ghz or higher then I would say it's a custom water loop.
i asked him it in a GENERAL sense and technically it could be a custom liquid loop and still be at 4.7 with 1.35v on core... the difference from 4.7-4.9 doesnt necessarily determine if its a closed loop or a custom loop.
I'm not saying it does. I'm just saying what my assumptions would be. Calm down, bro. U mad?
Read the rules, this ain't 4chan.
Corsair h100 right? Look at his profile specs before.
Yes h100 sorry took so long. It is pretty stable I ran prime for 5 hours and temps at 4.7 didn't go over 86c. I also ordered a custom loop last night so air will be interesting to see how much of a difference it makes.
I actually looked again and it's at a 1.34 vcore I read out wrong haha
What parts are you getting for your loop? It should make a pretty significant difference in temperatures. I'd say you're probably going to see at least a 15-20C difference.
im getting an rs360 kit and an ex120 just the rad
That should be more than enough just for the CPU.
Sweet :)
What coolant are you going to be using? I would personally only recommend either distilled water or ice dragon coolant. The only reason I recommend Ice Dragon is because it's the only coolant that is cooler than water right now. It will get about 5C cooler than water.
I just ordered the xspc stuff with the kit. will there be a big difference between it and distilled water? and if so how much? sorry I took so long been a little busy
Ok I just read up on coolant and I'm not going to use the xspc stuff because i really dont want to have to pull my blocks and stuff apart. Is there any dies that are good or can I just use food coloring as a die? thanks
We are getting off topic, I'm going to start a new thread
