Is this a good 1000$ build?

the 2133 and expensive HDD is a bit much IMO, id get 1600 and a normal Segate 1TB for 70 and put the extra $40+ into geting a 7870 or gtx 660Ti if i could fine it, maybe if youre lucky you could even get a 7950.

you dont think it would make much different with the 2133 in fps?

the cas is 11 from what i see you want around 9 or lower so probly some gskill 1600 would be better and the same price to boot.

i think build would do, http://pcpartpicker.com/p/yHTX

seems good to me you need to check if your motheboard and memory are compatable newegg has a tool on thier site that i use or go to asrocks site and look at the motherboards page look at memory support. also thier is a tool for watage but i think 600w will be fine for a single card configuration from what ive seen...still havent built one yet so take my word with a grane of salt.

Youd recoup a bit in rebates, but i got you a 90Gb SSD, a 7950 with a great cooler (i have the Windforce 7950) and a better CPU cooler which stomps all over the hyper 212 EVO, its more comparable and silent to a Noctua NH-D14.
