Is this £380 build OK?

Hi,

I'm going to be building a low budget gaming PC for around £350-£400 and I'm wondering whether this will give me some OK speed. I don't need anything fancy, just a reliable PC that will run at a good speed.

Here is what I could find.

AMD A8 5600k Socket FM2 3.9GHz 4mb Cache.   £74

AsRock FM2A75M-DGS Motherboard 6xSATA.      £45

Crucial Ballistix Smart Tracer RAM 4GB 1866MHz  £24

Toshiba 3.5" 1TB SATA Hard Drive                         £49

Liteon iHOS BD-ROM                                              £27

Corsair Builder Series 430w 80+ PSU                     £35

Fractal Design Core 1000 mATX Case                    £25

I will also be adding Windows 7/8 for                       £70

Will this give me OK FPS or should I go for an AMD Atholn/Phenom and get a REALLY cheap GPU?

Thanks, Richard.

* AMD A8 5600k is 3.6GHZ not 3.9GHz

Looks ok mate.

Whereabouts were you looking at buying from so we can check what they have on offer?

Thanks. Amazon.co.uk and Ebuyer were the sites I used, all of the prices I used were from Amazon UK because they have free one day delivery at the moment.

That PC looks really good mate thanks. Seems worth spending that little bit more for the quality parts.

Also is it worth overclocking?

You can overclock a little with that mobo if you get a extra cooler but i have used a Phenom II X4 965 before at stock and it runs great there isent realy a need to.

Thanks a lot for your help mate:)
