Hi there. New to the forum.
I've just installed Ubuntu on my XPS 13 and I have an old samsung laptop thats on it's last legs. I have thousands of images on there that I would like to keep and port over to my dell. Is there a way I can liveusb and run a terminal command to scrape my old hard drive for .jpg and .raw files and copy or move them to another external usb hdd?
This would be way more efficient than copying files 1 by 1 as they i'm not well known for keeping my filesystem in a tidy fashion. The pictures are in different folders all over my old hard drive.
Thanks in advance for any information.
