is there a tek syndidcate android app?

if yes please link it to me :)

if no than I want to make one! what should the app include? (links to deals, fourms, content etc.)

What do you guys think??

I kinda Wish they had a desktop and android app to push notifications, but no there is not an app. You can however create a shortcut to the site and put it on your home screen
I say go for it! I'd contact @Logan or @wendell about it though so you're not doing it behind their back

I was just wondering this the other day. I think even just having access to the forum would be a great start. Will help however possible!

I think the website scales perfectly, so I just use the browser and notifications for the forum is sent by mail. If I were to use an app it should include more, like notifications for uploaded videos or for keywords of forum posts of my interest. Just a thought.

Discourse even pushes notifications to your desktop. I've gotten them on Windows and Linux before. I don't think I've gotten them on my phone, though - the way the browser works isn't compatible with it, I guess.

There is no app and Wendell has said before he sees no need to make an app since it would essentially just be a link to the forums.

they have a mobile site which scales perfectly, no need for an app, unless you needed to go the extra mile

there IS an app. You have to download the APK file. it is not finished. the developer stopped half way through :/ but it works.

You guys know that chrome and Firefox both have notification options for the forums which the forums have implemented?

I think an app that just opens the forum and has push would do it. Should be easy enough.

I'm sure it's not too hard. If you're using chrome you can get push notifications and it works quite well.

i have to build it, it may take me a week or 2 so ill post here when i have a beta version ready,

its for us to use so it will be open source.
