Is windows going to release the startbar for windows 8? Ive seen many articles saying they was going to but Im still waiting on windows 8.1. Im thinking of downgrading to windows 7, windows 8 has too many problems.

What exactly are the problems you are having? You can make win 8.1 behave very similar to win 7. Explain what you want and I will see if I can explain how to get it.
Originally I had many crashes with windows 8, until they patched it. At the moment Its mostly the design is annoying me, I have seen the video on Tek syndicate on how to install a third party startbar but id rather wait for it officially to come from Microsoft. And I dont like the automatic maintenance feature, everytime I leave the pc it does background stuff and ramps up the temerature and runs really hot, cant figure how to turn it off.

Dont install a 3rd party startbar - set yours to boot to desktop by default, and either use desktop shortcuts, or pin to taskbar everything you use most often.
Personally I have NOTHING AT ALL on my desktop, just my programs on my taskbar with small icons and I never EVER use the "Start menu" You can even create shortcuts for "My Computer" and then pin to taskbar to have a 1 click icon to view your "My computer folder"- same goes for a shutdown icon, documents folder, whatever you use most.
I honestly cant even remember the last time I looked at the metro interface.

Windows 8 is not really cool and this start bar i think it is not going to happen .To be honest one of my friend is having a hard time about this windows 8 cause it is always updating and he's job at http://www.mpy.fi/yritysasiakkaat is always interrupted
Am I the only one who doesn't care about the startbar/menu? I'm using a mouse and keyboard and im perfectly fine moving my mouse to a corner to search for things and shit.
Well the metro user interface is a complete slap in the face to desktop users. Getting rid of the startbar is completely counter intuitive, why get rid of the startbar? It elimintaes the idea of continuity, the majority of new versions of windows had a start bar so why confuse the user?
