I have this headset and I highly recommend it for what you get for the price. It is very comfortable. I wear it for many hours with no discomfort at all. I also have a very noisy family, so I know it blocks out outside noises very well. Also, being a broadcaster, microphone quality is important to me. The microphone sounds very clear and has no white noise. Being a Logitech product, it is very durable and can withstand being dropped, but of course I suggest you try being careful anyway. The cord is braided and very long. I can freely walk about my bedroom with my headset still on. There is a mute button on the headset and you can also mute the microphone by simply lifting the microphone up and it will mute automatically. I like that there is two ways to mute the mic because if one fails, then you have the other option. Also the built in volume slider is a must. The virtual 7.1 surround sound is extremely good and makes it easy to tell which direction something is coming from. I have had this headset for almost a year and haven't had any issues.
You may read reviews complaining about the weight of this headset. Some people say it's too heavy. I personally do not experience this. I think the weight is just fine and doesn't give me any discomfort. I am a tiny girl with not much for muscle, so I don't understand their complaints. I think its a wonderful headset and worth every penny. And then some.
