what's the difference of the eVGA nForce 780i SLI FTW and the regular 780i?
basically the overclocking features in the bios, and stuff on the board like a power on/reset and clear cmos button.
It is basically a 780i with a few more features. such as more features in the bios, All 100% solid state capacitors, and a clear cmos button. But to tell the truth if you aren't going tri sli the 750i ftw will do just fine. I would never spend 100+ dollars for an extra pci-e slot but that is just me.
the third slot is not even x16..
does the 790i ultra have 3 pci express 16 2.0?
its more stable and overclocks better, supports 1066 memory along with other things mentioned by others.
The 790i Ultra has three 16X PCI slots but I think only two of them are 2.0. I could be wrong on that though.
I thnk your right on that one Kyoshige, I just checked newegg and YES, two are 2.0 and the last one is a regular 16x slot... wierd
780i originally was going to have water cooling too on the chipset and such...but they dumped that and along went my interest in it >_>
