Is the A8-5600K futureproof?

I was just wondering if the A8-5600K is futureproof. Not in a GPU-way, but in a CPU way.
I might want to buy it for a basic pc build, and I'd like to know if it'll still feel fast in windows and browsing in 4-5 years time.

for a general computer to surf the web, write documents, do some photoshop then sure, cpu's have a relitivly long life in comparison to other components

for gaming it's barely present proof

Okay, thanks! The gaming part isn't really an issue, as the PC won't be used to play any games other than the occasional flash-game.
