Is my tablet doomed?

Hey guys and gals,

My brother stepped on my tablet while it was on the charger, right on the charger port. It mashed the port itself and bent all the pins all over the place. I ordered a new port, and installed it in hopes it would return to its previous state. No such luck. I looked around online and found out that it uses a proprietary 15V charger, which I hadn’t been using, mine was a 12V. I ordered it expecting no further problems. No such luck. Tablet won’t turn on or indicate charging. It is an Asus TF-201.

Any suggestions?

I really need my tablet in working order for a project this coming month.

We've had about 20 or so of these come in with this issue. Unable to charge or turn on. We've never been able to completely repair any of them even after replacing charger, charging port, or battery. Seem's one they're broke, they're toast.
