Is my motherboard limiting my performance?

Before I start, this is my current build:

CPU: AMD FX-6100

GPU: ASUS GTX 660 Ti OC Edition w/ 2GB DDR5

MB: MSI 760GM-P23 (USB 2, SATA 2, Memory limit of 1333MHz)

RAM: 8GB 1600MHz DDR3

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB @ 7200 RPM and Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB SSD

PSU: Thermaltake TR2 500W

My question that hopefully one of you lovely forum goers can answer is: Is my motherboard limiting performance?

I'm getting 60 fps in pretty much all my games on Ultra (the exception being Tomb Raider on Ultimate with hair effects enabled). I feel like I should be getting a little bit more performance, and because of the constant occurrence of seeing 60 fps in most games I think that there is an issue somewhere.

your botleneck in tombraider will most likely be your GPU.

It seems to perform like crap on some GTX-6xx series Nvidia cards.

Tombraider is a GPU demending game, And if im right it performs better on a Radeon card, with some options enabled. You need a strong GPU for this game, i get arround 40 fps on my 7870ghz. 1080p maxed out.

This game is like Crysis3 it gets every GPU on its knees.

Correct me if im wrong. ☺
