Is It Worth The $ To Start W/ DDR4?

To begin, I live in the US, so USD will be the currency here. I have a budget of around $2,000 for the PC, minus periphs, which I already have.

I have two builds setup that I'm curious to hear some opinions on. Currently, with the prices of DDR4, and considering I am not doing any post processing, or major video editing, is the jump to DDR4 worth it right now?

The first setup I have here revolves around a DDR3 build. The GPU is still up in the air, I might just jump straight to a 980.

I do not play a whole lot of AAA titles. Maybe Far Cry 4, and Battlefield, but that is about it. I might want to give ARMA and DayZ a go once this gets up and running. Also, I would like this to be able to handle streaming. I would like a consistent 60+ FPS minimums on 1440p when gaming, and smooth stream rate. Any tips appreciated.

The parts listed below are the cpu, mobo, and ram required for a DDR4 setup.

Adata XPG Z1 16gb DDR4 Ram ($270)- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211903

Everything else in the DDR4 build is the same. Case, water cooling, ssd, psu, etc.

I don't think DDR4 is anywhere near worth it right now. Outside of RAM intensive synthetic benchmarks, DDR3 and DDR4 have a negligible difference. And since you're not doing anything super RAM intensive it seems, I'd go for the Z97 and save $200.

Are the extra cores beneficial to streaming in anyway since that's what it pulls from? the 5820k compared to the 4790k.
