Ehm depends on the ussage scenario.
But in terms of per core performance and ipc yes its the best cpu in that.

It realy depends on what you are using it for.

Haha well i think that non of the cpu's would exaly impress me that much atm.
The 6700K is realy a great chip for all day use and gaming.
For productivity workloads etc, Haswell-E has probably better chips to offer for that.
6700K will be better at gaming, the 5820K for the same price will be better at productivity.
it just depends.
