I've been a lurker for a long time now and been on the fence about making the dive with Linux. One of my biggest concerns is living without Adobe Photoshop and Windows 'exclusive' games. I remember seeing Wendell playing GTA V on what I assuming to be a Linux machine. Was this the case and if so is it possible to do this with other windows applications? Sorry if the answer is really obvious to you but I dont really know loads about Linux and want to know if I can use the applications that I need for work and... well also play games before taking the dive.
Try this topic.
There's an option, though it's kind of advanced. You can also look into WINE for running Windows programs under Linux.

And Wine... there's a million threads on this forum about this topic already I think it would be easy to find what you're looking for.
I would also strongly reccommend you download OracleVM and try distributions in a virtual machine before you start dual booting and all that jazz. It's really not as hard as you'd think.
Also get a LTS version. Long Term.
imo, ubuntu gnome3, ubuntu, linux mint, linux lite, Lubuntu, zorinOS are all good for starting people and you don't have to know code to run the damn thing.
