Saw a tutorial on this game and it looks interesting.....but it also looks like a game that needs LOTS of time put in it. I know mmos need your time but this one looks huge...so just wondering if its worth it.
I love it, but it isn't for everyone.
This would be my first mmo in a loooong time. Just build a pc and i need something to do until i get a gpu ( i have the 6800k)
All those menus look intimidating as hell though.
To elaborate on the amount of strategy that goes into playing Eve. When I started the game I joined a faction and was mining for them for free game time. Since I was coming into money faster than I could spend it I had backup ships located all over. Then we moved to low sec. All my back-up ships had to get transported as it's dangerous moving between high and low sec space with pirates. So we set up our POS (player owned starbase) and moved my Hulks and Orca and my other random ships, all the other players Cruisers and ships, all the ores me and the other miner had gotten. So we get set up and Our crafter/miner who was the 3rd highest in our corperation one night took all the ore, ships, POS and deleted his character as he had made it only too do what he had done. Just to give you the idea of how far people take that game(We assumed that he transfered it to his main with help). Stuff like that is actually really common and since he helped found our Corp. we didn't think for a second he was going to do that. Really fun game as long as you go elseware during hulkageddon and stay out of low sec till you have a very good feel for the game.(I started playing and went a miner 2 weeks before Hulkageddon started. That was one expensive beginning.
