Is anyone else having trouble connecting to wifi with the heuwei honor 5x

I just got an honor 5x and I can't connect to my homes wifi, I have BT as my ISP.

Login to your homehub and change the wifi to 2.4GHz only or 5GHz only and see if that makes a difference.
