Is 500W PSU enough?

I built a gaming rig back in October and I love it. Never had any problems with it and it is running just fine. No hiccups at all. But the idiot in the back of my head wanted to lurk online about my purchase and I'm a bit skeptical on my build and was wondering if I need to purchase somethings later down the road. Here are my specs:

CPU:AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
Gigabyte mobo: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Crucial RAM:Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card:XFX Radeon R9 280 3GB Black Edition Double Dissipation Video Card
Power Supply:Corsair CX 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

PC part picker gave me an estimated wattage of 394, which I thought was fine, but I overheard Logan in another video saying would you want a bigger one for future upgrades. As of right now, I'm good to go. I've had it run loud on Saints Row the Third, but on other games its pretty silent.

Should I push for a bigger PSU? Should I try to invest in a better CPU fan? Am I friggin nuts? Any advice would be great. Thank you for your time.

That is plenty. No single GPU card will make your system draw more than 500W. Plus, new GPUs are getting more efficient all the time so they will draw even less power. Leaving room to upgrade is nice but even a few HDDs and stuff won't put you over. IF you wanted to maybe add another GPU at some point and use Crossfire then yes you would want more power. I don't recommend dual GPU set ups though.

Thanks for the quick response. It gives me peace of mind.
