Yes I know 1080p has 1 million pixels I'm just asking because I want to know your experiences with 1080p PC Gaming. I have a 7870 and a i5 3450 but a 1360x768 monitor.
It's a pretty big improvement.
At the very least, once you have 1080p, you never want to go back. I assume that is also the case with 1440p and up.
Yes you will see a difference, but it really depends on how large the monitor you are getting. Also if you are getting a 1080p monitor, know that it will push your graphics card harder, so be wary.
not to be that guy but 1080p has over 2M pixels. This is almost twice as much as 768x1360. You will see a big improvement.
but that being said it will push your gpu hard. much. you may not be able to max out all the games anymore.
yeah, I went from 768p to 1080p and 768p on my laptop, and the gui scale change is huge
With that setup you should be using 1080p!
@ 1440 the hud is even smaller
A 7870 maxes damn near everything at 1080p.
23" IPS Panel from AOC. I'm going to assume my 7870 will be able to handle it :P
tfw you're poor :'(:'(
Yup. OP should no be worried. and besides the only difference between ultra and uber is a few shadow effects lol
a good 1080p monitor is ~$100. but I understand. i had no money until I got a job. now i have awesomesauce rig, and getting a 3rd monitor after christmas.
Just saw your specs there. My god. Lucky bastard ;) Mines isn't too bad though so I guess I'm also lucky
