I'm putting this in hardware because I am playing with the entire machine. I'm not testing JUST the Xeons, but also GPU configs and OS's.
So I have this box yeah? I want to try some things over the next few days. I know what it does with a R7 370. I want to try my 9800 GT in windows XP and linux. Why XP? Because 7 is shit on this machine and I don't like it anyways. So for the moment this is just a starting post until I actually get around to this shit.
Am I insane? I dunno. I wanna play TF2 and this laptop sucks ass. You tell me.
Update that is pointless, I have my 9800 in it but I can't find my XP disc. System actually posts faster so I think this was a good idea, somehow >.> will do TF2 benchmark later. Have to move hay for right now.
I also want to note that this thing is a hotbox with little heat extraction. A 9800 with a blower is going to pull hot air out of this thing MUCH better than the "normal" fans on my 370. AMD drivers are shit and I have little fan control on the GPU so having the 370 in there just to play TF2 and CSS, maybe league, is pointless and stupid. Not worth the heat slowdown on the irwindales.
