Would one of these work instead? ASUS Z270-WS
If not, is there anyway to know if a certain motherboard will work beforehand? Is it all Z270’s that don’t work, or just this specific one?

just that specific one, but other specific ones may also have issues. You’d probably have to rely on one of my reviews. I reviewed a bunch of boards and listed their IOMMU groups on the kaby lake playlist on youtube. One of those that has working iommu would be better?

no prob. The z170 boards seem to be more solid for iommu, too, which is annoying iommu things are still broken.
