Inverted with a stick is more intuitive

because the direction you push the stick maps to the use of muscles in your neck.

I had no idea, it’s just something I talked about with someone years ago and puzzled out that it makes sense that way.

Only for stick though. Nobody uses inverted mouse.

nah, I just heard it chatted about in one of the Level1 news episodes the other night and felt extremely compelled to loudly shout random trivia into a void.

When you want to look up a lot, you lean backward.
When you want to look down, you lean forward.
During this, you arms make the same motion, so it makes sense with a stick control to do the same.

I can’t deal with that on a mouse though. When I want to move my crosshair upwards, I move it upwards like a mouse cursor.
