Internet providers to start policing the web July 12

Honestly, Im fed up with United States at this point. I'm really thinking of moving into Canada

ISPs will be very unwilling to shut off your internet, they lose money in doing so.

They also won't be unencrypting massive amounts of torrent data to find out what you're downloading.

I'm going to buy a VPS soon to use as VPN for most of my on the go traffic, and web hosting. If you're really worried about big brother spying on you, then I suggest you do the same.

:(

Well fuckĀ

Nothing will change, the ISP's are just taking the MPAA's bribe and telling them they'll do whatever they want just so they shut the fuck up and go away.

Why the fuck would your ISP shut you down and LOSE money just because a bunch of loudmouthed retards think what we're doing is detrimental to their busniness?

For the most part what Rabu said is true. They are also doing this so that they can get easier access to major hollywood movies on their services such as instant streaming and etc, which hollywood is currently not providing access to without harsher restrictions.

Well most of those ISPs they talked about are shit anyway. There are going to still be those ISPs that are not part of this policy and they will make bank. Wouldn't be suprised if hackers just hack the hell out of those companys.
