Internet privacy

So no complaint or anything. I am for privacy but why do Logan and Wendell always take about companies using your data. I get it with ISP and carriers, but Facebook and twitter? My question is, why complain about Facebook when you signed up for the terms and agreement, that says they can use your data?

I think they are mostly concerned about the USERS of Facebook or twitter not caring about their privacy and giving away all their data to these websites.
Also, obviously no one reads the terms and agreement part and whether "we can use your data as we wish" is written in there or not, that's a privacy problem and companies shouldn't do it.

I agree with @bobouda it's more about companies taking advantage over the users, and people are getting blinded with convenience, they will give up there freedom and privacy because of it.

It's just a basic problem in humanity. "If they don't care, then why should I?" and businesses (and governments lol), like facebook, take advantage of that.

You may search for "Social Psychology Experiment" if you are interested to know more lol.

Oh no I do care. And yes I understand that. I also like to live dangerously and not read the terms. Haha. But you guys are right. I didn't see that side of it. I try to warn people in my live about having the Facebook app or whatever they are involved with., due to privacy.
