Hey guys, my internet keeps disconnecting randomly (it usually disconnects every few minutes but sometimes it can work for a few hours) I have no idea why this is happening, some guys told me to call my isp I did that but it's awkward how they know less then I do for example they asked what color my router is (to find out what router I have O_O) and asked me if I have my cables plugged in. They came over to check my cables and they changed my router a couple of times but the problem still persists.
So you guys are my only hope now, it's so annoying to play online games or to even download stuff.
I took a netalyzr test maybe it can help you I found some strange stuff like "Man-in-the-Middle attack" even if it's true I don't think that could make my internet disconnect anyway here's the link http://n2.netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu/summary/id=43ca208a-1861-f5226d7a-9949-40ff-b491
P.S: I posted this a few hours ago but it didn't appear on the forums... :(
godamn man, yes it posted but i was the only one to comment. But i would like to see an answer to this as well. Link to post
Best solution for most issues like this is to get your own modem/router system instead of using the one your ISP gives you, at least, if they allow you to use your own. Check with them. The Motorola Surfboard is a good series of modems, and the classic Linksys router is good for networking.
Another thing you can do is use OpenDNS instead of your ISP's DNS service. OpenDNS is free and you have actual control over it, so you can do that immediately and see if there's a difference. It also automatically blocks some kinds of malware, and will notify you of botnet activity among other things, so it has some big advantages. Here's its website: https://www.opendns.com/
I have the linksys router and nothing changes, I also tried opendns but no luck with it either
get a new isp. your current one obviously doesn't know what their doing.....
