Intel Xeon D or Atom C3000 for monero+bitcoin fullnode?

Hello all,
I would like to build a home server, that will function as NAS + will run Bitcoin, Monero and possibly other cyrptocurrencies in Virtual Machines. I want to run full nodes - these are NOT minig, but they still verify the blockchaian and transactions signatures etc.
I am considering 2 processors - either some Xeon D or some Atom C3000 family… Xeon D has AVX2 instructions and would probably process the cryptography and virtualisation faster. But perhaps C3000 is enough? What do you thing?

Thanks
urza

Any model recomendation from those 2 procesor families?

I’d say do the atom. They are lighter on power but do pretty well performance wise.
