Lol, E6600s run on a way better architecture. The Core architecture is FAR superior to the NetBurst architecture. Just keep your E6600 and overclock it.
yeah. it wont go any higher than 3.3 but yeah. most definitely . just wanted to see your guys's input. ITS NOT WORTH THE HEAT. 60 c is NOT the bidness when on IDLE. GAH
You should be able to get it post 3.3. But damn 60c idle is serious mutha fuggin' business.
Damn that CPU's hot... I would keep the E6600, its far better and consumes far less heat and energy. Better on the wallet and better on the computer. Core Arch is one of the best ever made.
if you upgrade anything, you should go i7 or i5
