Intel E7500 or AMD 9650?

Ok so I'm gonna build a new PC kinda but I dont know if I should get a quad core or a intel dual core E7500 with a XFX 750i and 4GB corsair XMS2 or keep the motherboard I have now (30$ foxconn M61PMV) and get a AMD 9650 with 4GB corsair XMS2? also I really want to put my 9800GTX+ in SLi.

Should I go Intel? btw the max I can spend is $260 OH CAN IT PLAY BC2?

Quad core as it will be futerproof for a a few years as more apps and programs are coded to make use of the extra 2 cores over the deul core

Do not get an orginal phenom, they are crap! If you want a good cheap quad on the amd side then get the Athlon 2 620 or 630.

There really is no excuse possible that can make up for buying an original phenom, none at all!

Either do what The Doctor said, and get a new mobo, or go Intel, but get the CPU from Tiger to save shipping costs.

agreed.

imo the best thing you can do is save your money do a new build

got myself a Athlon II x4 630, all i can say is that it's amazing
