Intel 660p SMART 331 Media and Data Integrity Errors

I have an Intel 660p that, after less than four months of use, had SMART reporting 331 Media and Data Integrity errors. I submitted a request for replacement, and received the following response:

After analyzing the SMART details, it shows that the drive is working as expected and it is fully operational; however, since you don’t feel comfortable deploying this drive in your system, as an exception, we will proceed with the replacement of your SSD

I’m just curious if anyone here would treat this as ‘working as expected’. It didn’t seem to be worth risking my data, and, as I didn’t know if they would offer cross-shipping of a replacement, I already purchased and deployed a Sabrent Rocket drive in its place.
