Installing Case fans on to Motherboard?

So, I was looking at the mother board that I am planning to put into my first build and saw that it had 4 4-pin connectors. It is an Asus board so I am wanting to put them in my motherboard so I can control them in the AI Control Suite but the thing is I am not sure how many pins are on each fan in the case. The case I am looking at is the Cooler Master N200 and I am also looking at putting in a Sickleflow in the front, too.

Do I need pin converters and how would I go about installing them?

It may sound stupid but the help would be greatly appreciated!

if the fan has 4 pins then it's speed can be controlled by the motherboard, if it only has 3 pin it can only read what speed the fan is spinning at, you can convert a 4pin fan to fit a 3 pin port, it will spin and report's it's s speed but you CANT(i guess you can) plug a 3 pin fan into a 4 pin connector, it will still work and report back it's speed but you wont be able to control it's speed.

Okay, that's good to know. I figured out you can plug a 3 pin into a 4 pin, it just won't allow control of the fan.

Yep, you can plug a 3-pin into a 4-pin, but you won't be able to actively control it very well. On 3-pin fans you have a positive, a negative, and a ground wire. 4-pin fans have an additional PWM wire in addition to positive, negative, and ground that allows for monitoring and stuff.

If you end up deciding to get a new 4-pin fan, make sure the connector is actually for a 4-pin connector on the motherboard. I've noticed quite a few fans that say "4-pin", but are really just 3-pin fans with Molex adapters.
