Infected computer?

I'm having an issue where certain programs that I will run don't open and use a good bit of processing power, I have run scans of my system with both malwarebytes and avast, they don't detect anything. I have tried rebooting, re-installing the applications, and running them as administrator... nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? The programs also worked fine before, this just started happening a couple days ago. Very rarely the application may actually work.

Affected programs

-GlassWire (network usage/monitoring)

-qbittorrent

-Nexus mod manager

-Logitech Gaming software

-Chrome (only happened once so far)

Try running a memory test using memtest86

That's gonna rule out your ram

could also be a memory leak. I know I have problems with Corsair software from time to time.

Ok memtest seemed to think everything was fine, also all my games have been fine and other software works fine so I  still don't really know.

Run the following tools and tell me their results, also a list of installed programs would be nice.

tdsskiller said everything was fine and NPE  came up with this, however it seems to be a false positive. (The 'this' hyperlink is a website about it)

I'm thinking about just whipping everything and re-installing windows or maybe even trying linux if the problem keeps up.

No sure of a good way to get a program list so please tell me if you have a better way http://i.imgur.com/Hj1ap3k.png

memory usage isn't affected at all however i don't know much about them so that maybe a possible side affect?

Try a system restore and see if that doesn't fix your problem it might be better than wiping your HDD/SDD.

Don't have any restore points cause I'm an idiot sooo i might as well just start over.

Sounds to me like it could be a registry problem. Do a complete scan with CCleaner. Might sort it out. otherwise its generally best to just do a reload of windows. Even if you fix this problem, Chances are it wont ever be truly fixed.

Ok trying that now, thanks

Edit:

Didn't appear to work ;/

Run CMD as administrator and run the following commands, if these repair any files please reboot.

chkdsk /f C: (Note make sure you name the drive you have the OS installed on)

sfc /scannow

Both came up clean, idk whats so messed up

Okay everything is working now... something along the line fixed it, thanks so much for all the help everyone.
