I Need some Recommendations.
A Fishing Company is in need of some whole new Camera systems on some of the boats. ( Industrial fishing boats). The current System consists of some household DVRs and multiple Cameras connected through COAX Cables. BASCOM, HIKVISION. All-hybrid and one propriatary system are installed on the boats.
I Presume due to the weather conditions the COAX Cables keep breaking, also due to all the movement of the boat the basic HDDs in the DVR break.
I’m not a camera expert so hoping for some assistance/recommendations.
Company uses a ubiquiti for wifi. Personally i would like to place a Camera system that once the boat is unloading fish that it would automatically connect to the company wifi where then either we can replay the footage of the boat or have it get uploaded to the synology server that is on prem.
IF any more information is required to be of assistance be sure to ask, I will do my best to provide the information i have.
