In need of motherboard advice (FX-8350)

Hey guys.

I'm looking for a motherboard recommendation for my proposed build. It will mainly be used for gaming. The main games I play are Flight simulator X, Race Room, and GTR Evolution.

I need a micro ATX board as the Cougar Spike is the case I would like to use. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811553011)

I would prefer to have the ability to use the front mount USB 3.0 port. Also, I would like to stick with AMD as my last few builds have been Intel and I want to try something new. I have my heart set on AMD so I would appreciate not being told to switch to Intel like I was told on another forum which shall remain nameless.

There's not much choice from the big 3's (Asus, MSI, Gigabyte) for a mATX 990FX motherboard. If you're ready to go for a ATX motherboard then i suggest you go with the Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2 or Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.

So, you're asking for a micro-ATX mobo with usb 3.0 and, assumably, SATA 3 for your ssd? You might want to reconsider your choice in size.

get the asus sabertooth and get a larger case like the thermaltake commander its similar to the one you have and will fit the motherbroad

i have myself the CROSSHAIR V FORMULA
inside the Cooler Master HAF-X case. (i think the case is a bit OVERKILL, right ?)
