I am in need of a good 18+ anime. Something along the lines of Black Lagoon or Attack on Titan. I never watched Attack on Titan but I am going to soon. You can include the weird romances if you want. Im more looking for an action type of anime.
Not knowing what you've seen makes suggestions hard. There are staples like Ghost in the Shell/GITS: SAC, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Evangelion, etc. There also ones like Baccano, Ergo Proxy, Soul Eater and whatnot. Two that I liked recently were Kill La Kill for how goofy it was and No Game No Life.
Im currently watching GITS. Havent seen the other ones you listed. I'll go check them out. Thanks. One of my friends watched No Game No Life and he said it was just incredibly goofy.
Patlabor The Movie 1 2 3. If you can do subs patlabor the series as well.
Baccano! the English Dub is better since it takes place in 1920's US. Immortal Alchemist fighting in 1920's Prohibition US is a ton of fun.
Kill La Kill is great. Elfin Lied is great. Deadman Wonderland is good, but ends abruptly with no intention for new episodes.
how old are you op?
fist of the north star. start with the classics in gore.
Oh, Yu-yu-hakusho was great.

Thanks for the suggestions! I can recommend you guys Code Lyoko. Its similar to Sword Art Online but without the game stuff.
Holy shit how has no one mentioned Gantz? That one is a staple.
Some of my personal favorite adult anime are Darker Than Black, Durarara!!, Death Note, Hellsing (all of the series), and Code Geass.
Mirai Nikki is really good, English version is Future Diaries.
I liked Zetsuen no Tempest pretty well, but at times it screams that its target audience is know-it-all teens similar to Cowboy Bebop (not everyone agrees with me here, and I am sure that I might get some hate for that opinion but I think that at least).
Elfen Lied was pretty awesome as well.
Another is pretty good, but a bit of a different genre than most are used to (more horror/mystery than most).
Phantom Requiem of a Phantom was pretty good as well, but I didn't like it as much as most of the others on this list.
Rosario Vampire is a humorous take on anime (often making fun of anime in general) but it isn't exactly "mature" in nature, though it definitely isn't something I would let kids watch.
Kill la Kill and Kenshin both have some mature elements, but they are both pretty childish imo.
I have plenty of other anime to recommend, but those are the most 18+ ones that I have on hand.
There is one Manga i'm currently reading that I recommend called "Ana Satsujin" I wish they would make an anime out of this but any-who To give you a quick Synopsis of this story
This is a story of a suicidal college dropout, Kurosu, who finds his reason to live in his next door neighbor Miyaichi. after a totally intentional and long-lasting peeping habit. It is then that he finds out his neighbor, Miyaichi, a graduate student and a total lady killer, is an actual serial killer who murders multiple men in a span of 6th months, they find each other and the story begins. They cling to each other to find some sense of normalcy and acceptance. they go on dates, she cooks for him, yet he is still scared of her and what she does.
This story has ALOT of Suspense and "Holy Shit it's about to go down" moments. i really recommend it, the story is in my personal opinion pretty unique.

I'm not going to lie I love Rosario + Vampire but the Anime is Straight Ass. it's filled with nothing but Fan-Service and Goes WAAAY off of the original story. The Manga is SOOO Much better. Tsukune is not a little bitch in the manga who always who is dependant on the girls to save his skin.
If you want an action anime with a surreal comedy twist try FLCL (Fooly Cooly) or as posted earlier Kill la Kill
Night Shift Nurses. Just watch it. It will last you a long time.
ummmmmmmmmm holy crap!!!!! Im so reading that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No Game No Life is rather silly, but they have to play all these games, most of which they don't know the rules to and its just fun watching them develop strategies and whatnot to win these games that are thought to be unwinnable. they also break the 3rd wall a lot and poke fun at their own genre of anime.
Gantz looks really good from reading the plot on Wikipedia. Thanks for the suggestions!
