Hello all,
I am currently trying to get rid of my Late 2011 MacBook Pro and my sister and brother in law are in great need of a new computer so I told them I'd be willing to sell it to them. Well at first I just said i would let them have it for 200 dollars. But when I actually sat down and thought about this I realized it was stupid (I've let them know that 200 isnt going to happen). I want to sell it to them as low as possible but still have enough money to get a decent computer to replace it for my upcoming year at college. So what should I ask?
Specs:13" 2.4 Ghz i5, 4 GB of RAM, 500 GB HDD, comes with microsoft office & Mountain Lion
So this leads me to my next question. What is a decent laptop that is built solid in the price range of 600 to 800 USD. I'm definitely not going to ask this much for the Mac but I have some money that I can use to supplement what I get for the Mac. I recently built a desktop too so graphical performance is not of the utmost importance. Honestly I probably won't be using it too much just for writing papers, the occasional movie on the road, excel graphs for chemistry, datastudio for chemistry(just a data gathering program), etc. One more thing I will be taking programming classes this year so if that would come into play let me know.
Sorry for asking so many questions but I am utterly clueless about what to do. Thanks in advance for the help!!
Cheers
