From what I've heard, the TPP seems to be our worst nightmare. People say it will cost the US many jobs, give corporations a massive boost in power, hurt the internet with it's massive regulations, and hurt democracy in the US and all other nations involved (like we had much of that anyways). Is this just fear mongering, or is the TPP really one of the worst things to happen to the United States?
Take a look through here, I don't expect you to read everything as there are a lot of sources linked but even reviewing some of them and skimming what's being said should help you see red flags everywhere. It's seriously not a good thing at all
One part of it that really has me worried is ISDS. Isn't there something similar under NAFTA though? Read something about a mining corporation suing El Salvador for trying to stop the company from polluting their water.
