So apparently I’ve been ignoring the fact that all my drives have been setup as network locations? This isn’t typically visible I guess unless you ran linux or use a recovery tool but, well, pictures can probably explain this better than I can. I want to say this is partially normal, but I can almost gaurantee it isn’t.
Whoevers doing this also thinks that destroying that last stuff I have left in my possession is somehow funny.
No it’s not normal. Nor funny. But it might be less spurious then you may think, be it just as serious: your PC or drive(s) might be dying. If you can, get yourself a large external drive and rescue your data ASAP. Once you’ve completed that task, re-install Win-OS. Initially on an existing drive (not the external one you’ve backed up the data to!) then add any other drive one at a time. Good luck!
I don’t care about the data really, especially since it’s probably all infected in some way. I also don’t have real internet I have to use my phone for everything, which is probably why this all started. I have reason to believe the firmware is infected down to the motherboard and gpu at the very least, any recommended tools? Also any recommended tools to actually wipe a drive and not just add another volume?
