I don't know if this is a good place to put this but here I go. Recently my 1 year old office chair broke. The terribly designed arm rest that also attaches to the back of the chair cracked making it lean to one side. The chair is no longer tolerable. What do you guys recommend for long hours of gaming and working? Budget isn't a huge deal, but I don't want to drop a fortune. Thanks
Find a place that specializes in office furniture and try some task chairs (it should carry stuff like steelcase, herman miller, human scale ect).

Best chair that I have ever owned.
I am interested in this too. I can't vouch for this site as I have yet to buy anything from them, but they sell used office furniture. Looks like some quality, well cared for stuff. Hope this helps: http://www.continentalofficegroup.net/catalog/office-chairs-seating/
I am actually in the market myself. I plan on getting this chair around February myself. You should have a look. The teardown that the needforseat youtube page does shows that it has solid construction. I wouldn't mind spending a pretty penny for something like this.

I second this one. Ikea Markus is great and very affordable.
Edit: Oh damn, I just realized … what a necro bump!
