Hey, new to PC building and im trying to build a 800$ rig for editing videos and game as well. editing would be more primary for this rig though. as for gaming all i can think i would play right now is a modded Skyrim. i know it needs some power with all the texture packs and embs, so if anyone knows a rig that can do both or your own build i would appreciate it. honestly im just not trying to screw up and buy something stupid thanks.

Well i had 800 dollars for a build like that and here's what I built last summer. http://pcpartpicker.com/b/ETN (It's saying $653 because it's not including the price of the GPU. And also $800 is after shipping and tax.
It edits HD videos in sony Vegas very nice and I can also push some 3D editing in blender. Also games really really nice. I have a shit ton of skyrim mods and it runs them in playable frame rates. Battlefield 4 on ultra settings (I have to turn it down on 64 player servers though) You can change stuff around of course. Add more RAM for editing. Change the CPU, GPU, case etc.etc..
I upgraded the CPU cooler to a Noctua NH D 14 I found for cheap on craigslist. And I overclocked the CPU to 4.5GHZ Stable. Of course i still need to fine tune it so I can get better results.
