Identifying the HDD?

So I have a Hitachi 1 TB HDD and a Seagate 1 TB HDD, and I'm planning to take the drive with windows 8 on it into my new build. One is running Windows 8 and the other is running Windows Server 2008 R2.

Is there a way to identify in Windows which drive is the Hitachi and which one is the Seagate?

Device properties > Disk Drive > Right click on drive > Properties > Volumes > Populate

I'm not sure what this is supposed to do.

I did it but the window closes.
