Ideas for upgrading my old pc

As the name suggest, i am taking suggestion for how i should upgrade my 2 to 3 yr old gaming rig to a semi gaming/work station build as i need to do video editing and rendering.(I use adobe premiere, after effects and photoshop)

My Build:

Processor: Intel i7-2700k @ 4.0ghz

MB: I am not quite sure of the actual name

Ram: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz

Storage Drives:

1 corsair 60gb ssd(boot drive)

3*1TB Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive  (2 are in raid 0)

Cpu Cooler: Corsair h80

Case: Cooler Master hafx

I am thinking of upgrading my motherboard to a asus p8z77-ws , the graphic card to something higher and the case to a fractal design r4.

My budget for all of this is about 800usd and i live in Singapore( a small island nation off the malaysian peninsula).

I have check and my current motherboard is an asus p8z68-v pro gen3, my psu is a 1000w psu and my gpu is a single gtx 580 because my other one died :(

You've got a pretty good setup there already.  Getting a motherboard with a Z77 chipset and overclocking your i7 will be a great idea.

GTX 580 is still pretty strong.  You can always upgrade go a GTX 770/R9 280X, though.

Thanks but do you think that the corsair h80 would still be good for overclocking?
