Ideas for GPU that doesn't really fit in Fractal Meshify C

My old HTPC was an i5 9400 in an ITX board and a Phanteks Enthoo ITX with no GPU

I got some HP Reverb G2 VR headsets, so I ordered a Fractal Design Meshify C and a 3080 Ti and swapped the CPU for a spare 8700K I had

Performs is great, but I had to mount the front fans a bit wacky since the GPU is too long!

Ideas for making this ideal?

Currently I’m thinking of drilling new mounting holes so I can mount the second 140mm right there under the GPU

Or, should I get some slim fans?

Cardboard-Engineering approach would be to coble up a duct so the first GPU-Fan pulls directly from the front.

Noctua’s NF-A12x15’s are pretty good for slim fans. They also have a Chromax.Black variant. You will be limited to 120mm, though, as they don’t make 140mm slims, but that should be fine.

You can also check this SFF spread sheet for other slim fans if you can tolerate higher noise levels.

Sorry I’m not terribly familiar with your case. But my first thought looking at your pics is that if you pop the front off you might be able to mount the fans in the gap between the front mesh and the frame. If my eyes deceive me and that is not an option you could build a spacer to go inbetween the front panel and frame allowing you to mount the fans there. that would allow plenty of space for your card.

Cardboard duct seconded. As for slim fans arctic makes the P14 in a slim version which should fit nicely.

If it was me I would probably help the card along with an angle grinder, but this approach is only for insane people.
