Hello, this is my first post - Assuming this is the right place to post this.
So I got my hands on a IBM Transnote a few months back, I liked using it, especially for schoolwork as it had a notebook section and I could swivel the monitor around to show that im working (even though windows 2000).
But then it stopped working - it would freeze up at BIOS and even responded to F12 twice before it stopped even doing that.
So I opened it up, I knew I couldn't fit much of anything inside of it - except perhaps a Raspberry pi (I have a model B+ v 1.2, but I am willing to get a newer one if needed.)
Basically, I want to connect the keyboard and monitor (and perhaps battery) from the Transnote to a raspberry pi.
What exactly am I looking for in terms of something such as an LCD controller? I would like to keep the touchscreen capability if possible.
As for the keyboard, IBM/Lenovo hasn't seem to have changed the keyboard design, I believe I have that part figured out, though any advice would be appreciated.
