i7 6700k/Titanx build given new Home! but

I'm not sure if anyone remembers my initial build which was done in this locker type case with a neat handle, great design but a gimmik after all due to airflow issues.

Specs:
i7 6700k (now overclock to 4.4)
Titan x 12GB (evga no overclock)
16gb GSKILL 3200mhz
512gb samsung 950 evo pro m.2 PCIE NVMe
MSI z170i gaming pro ac itx MB
gamerstorm liquid cooler (cpu)
WD green storage drive 2TB (2.5 inch)
seasonic x-series 850w (psu)
phanteks ENTHOO EVOLV itx case

This thing looks great now and the giant slow moving fan in the front of the case pulling air across the components is nice as well however, HOW ON EARTH DOES THIS MACHINE BOOT SLOWER THAN MY AMD APU MACHINE? !
That older machine is just using 8gb ram 2400ghz and a sata 3 evo 850 boot drive...

MSI fast boot is enabled it is booting in UEFI mode. For some god aweful reason this machine with ram that is 800mhz faster and has an ssd that has read and write speeds well over 2k IT boots slower than my older machine hahaha.

My only guess is that the post process for MSI gaming mother board is no where near optimized yet.

as sad as this is I will post some pics below enjoy.

It might boot slower because there is more to detect? And skylake is fairly new. Noice build!

looks nice could you post some more photos of the main bit of the inside where the gpu and mobo are?

looks nice

What OS btw?

Oh windows 10 from this 1, I am messaging you from the amd mini machine behind it, nix only for my main machine.

This machine is excessive and just a toy really for fooling about with, I won't keep it long anyway.

WD Greens are slower in gernerall. They are meant to save power. So they spin less fast or stop completly when not in use.
On that topic, the slowest SSD is faster than the fastest HDD.

Supposedly my SSD is faster than almost everything on the market now, did you notice it clipped into the back of the motherboard in the m.2 slot?

The Green drive was left over from another build long ago. It was barely used at all.

I missed the SSD being hidden away in the back. I would want some airflow in areas with harddrives but if it doesn´t melt it must be okay.

There is a massive fan at the front of the case, this machine runs very cool.

Nice build. May it serve you well!

did you do a fresh install?

YES its fresh install.

maybe bios update?

fully updated man..
