I7 6700 bizarre temperatures

Just running some Prime95 after ditching the stock cooler for a noctua - temps are in the 50's (Celsius) but briefly dipping to 20/30C and the fan is slowing in those dips abruptly.

Leads me to believe as the fan is following the CPUID temp readout that there's something fishy with some component?
Reckon it's OK?

Dont run Prime95 on any cpu newer than Sandybridge - Use Intel Burn Test or AIDA64

Vandal85 is totally right. Prime95 is no more a reliable test and should be avoided to all cost before damaging the CPU.
